wheelbases
Car stability measurements
Wheelbases is the plural of wheelbase, the distance between the front and rear axles of a vehicle.
Longer wheelbases generally provide smoother rides and more interior space; shorter ones allow tighter turning.
The measurement matters when comparing vehicles or fitting into parking spaces: The two trucks have identical wheelbases.
