weekly review
Seven-day summary meeting
A weekly review is a regular practice of reflecting on the past week and planning for the next—examining what got done, what didn't, and what needs attention.
The term is particularly associated with productivity systems like Getting Things Done, where it's considered essential maintenance: I use my weekly review to clear my inbox and update my project lists.
More casually, any recurring check-in on goals or progress: Our team does a weekly review every Friday afternoon.
