A weedwacker is a handheld power tool with a rotating plastic line that cuts grass and weeds in areas a lawn mower can't reach—along fences, around trees, against walls.
Also called a string trimmer or weed eater.
The motor spins the line fast enough to slice through vegetation: I need to weedwack along the back fence.
