volumetric flow
Cubic per second
Volumetric flow is the volume of fluid passing through a given cross-section per unit of time—typically measured in liters per minute or cubic feet per second.
Engineers and scientists use it to describe how much liquid or gas moves through pipes, rivers, or airways: The pump delivers a volumetric flow of fifty gallons per minute.
Distinguished from mass flow, which measures weight rather than volume.
