voice navigation
Audio route guidance
Voice navigation is a system that provides spoken directions, typically for driving or walking routes.
A GPS device or smartphone app announces turns and distances aloud so you can follow without looking at a screen: Turn on voice navigation so I can keep my eyes on the road.
The term also applies to controlling devices through spoken commands rather than touch.
