unmatured
Still too young
Unmatured describes something that has not yet reached full development or ripeness.
The term appears most often in financial contexts, where an unmatured bond or investment has not yet reached its maturity date: The portfolio contains several unmatured securities.
Outside finance, immature is the more common choice.
