unfreezing
Warming to liquid
Unfreezing is the process of returning something frozen to a non-frozen state, whether literally (thawing food, melting ice) or figuratively (releasing assets, resuming operations).
Banks may unfreeze accounts after an investigation concludes; companies unfreeze hiring when budgets allow.
In change management, unfreezing refers to the first stage of organizational transformation, where existing mindsets and processes are loosened before new ones can take hold.
