undertakers
They prepare bodies
Undertakers are people whose business is preparing the dead for burial and arranging funerals.
The term has an older, broader sense of anyone who undertakes a task or enterprise—a contractor or entrepreneur—but this meaning has largely yielded to the funeral sense.
The undertakers arrived to transport the body.
