undereat
Skimp on meals
To undereat is to eat less than one's body needs—whether deliberately or not.
Someone dieting might undereat intentionally, while stress or illness can cause unintentional undereating.
The opposite of overeat: She's been undereating for weeks and feels constantly tired.
