Underbust refers to the area of the torso immediately below the breasts, or a measurement taken around this part of the body.
The term appears most often in clothing contexts: an underbust corset sits below the bust line, supporting without covering the breasts.
Bra fitting requires both bust and underbust measurements to determine proper size.
