Camisole with bottom
A teddy is a stuffed toy bear, named after President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt following a famous 1902 incident where he refused to shoot a tied-up bear.
The word also refers to a woman's one-piece undergarment combining a camisole top with shorts or a thong bottom: She packed a silk teddy for the honeymoon. (Capitalized Teddy is a nickname for Theodore or Edward.)
