tufted ears
Furry pointed tips
Tufted ears have small clusters of fur extending from their tips, characteristic of certain wild cats like lynxes and caracals.
The tufts may aid hearing or communication.
Domestic cats with similar features, such as Maine Coons, are sometimes called tufted-ear breeds: The lynx's tufted ears swiveled toward the sound.
