tiddler
Small fry, literally
A tiddler is something very small, especially a tiny fish like a minnow or stickleback: The kids spent the afternoon catching tiddlers in the stream.
British informal extends this to any small or insignificant thing—a small child, a minor company, or a trivial amount: Compared to the multinationals, we're just a tiddler.
