therapize
Offer psychological help
Therapize is an informal, often slightly mocking verb meaning to subject someone to therapy or therapeutic analysis, or to act as an amateur therapist toward them: Stop trying to therapize me.
It can also mean to work through something using therapeutic techniques: She spent the weekend therapizing her childhood trauma.
The tone usually suggests skepticism about excessive psychologizing.
