test line
Queue for examination purposes
Test line refers to a line in a document, code, or display used to verify that something is working correctly.
In pregnancy and diagnostic tests, the test line is the indicator that shows a result—its presence, absence, or intensity reveals whether a condition is detected: Two lines means positive; one line means negative.
In theater and film, actors may speak test lines to check microphone levels or blocking.
