test light
Electrical diagnostic tool
A test light is a simple electrical diagnostic tool—a small bulb or LED connected to a probe and ground wire—used to check whether current is flowing through a circuit.
Mechanics and electricians touch the probe to a wire or terminal; if the light illuminates, the circuit is live.
Use a test light to see if power is reaching the fuel pump.
