tension rods
Spring-loaded curtain supports
Tension rods are adjustable poles that hold themselves in place by pressing outward against two surfaces, typically the inside of a window frame or doorway.
Spring-loaded mechanisms create the pressure.
They're commonly used to hang lightweight curtains or shower curtains without drilling holes: I put up a tension rod for the bathroom curtain.
Also called spring rods or pressure rods.
