tennis league
Organized racket sport
A tennis league is an organized group of players or teams who compete against each other over a scheduled season, typically with standings and rankings.
Leagues range from casual recreational groups at local clubs to competitive divisions organized by skill level: She joined a women's tennis league that plays Tuesday evenings.
Unlike tournaments, leagues emphasize regular, ongoing competition.
