soccer league
Teams compete seasonally
A soccer league is an organized competition in which teams play each other over a season, with standings determined by cumulative results.
Most leagues use a round-robin format where every team faces every other team: The Premier League is England's top soccer league.
Leagues exist at all levels from professional to recreational youth programs.
