teach-in
Campus discussion event
A teach-in is a prolonged meeting or session devoted to intensive discussion and education about a particular issue, typically political or social.
The format emerged from 1960s anti-war activism, where professors and students gathered for extended seminars outside regular classes.
Modern teach-ins address topics from climate change to racial justice: The campus held a teach-in on police reform.
