Inescapable hit chain
Stunlock is a gaming term for a situation where a character is hit repeatedly without being able to recover or act between attacks.
The victim is trapped in a continuous cycle of being stunned, unable to fight back or escape: I got stunlocked in the corner and couldn't do anything.
The term extends to any situation where someone feels trapped in an overwhelming barrage: The meeting devolved into a stunlock of back-to-back questions.
