Company's opening image
A studio logo is the animated or static graphic that identifies a film or television production company, typically appearing at the beginning of movies and TV shows.
These range from iconic sequences like the roaring MGM lion or the Paramount mountain to simple title cards.
We sat through three studio logos before the movie started.
Studio logos often become nostalgic touchstones for viewers, signaling the era and style of what follows.
