street dogs
Homeless urban canines
Street dogs are stray or feral dogs that live in urban areas without owners, surviving by scavenging and roaming neighborhoods.
Common in cities across Latin America, Asia, and parts of Europe, they may form loose packs and often become semi-tolerated fixtures of particular streets or markets: The street dogs gathered near the food stalls at dusk.
