Adhesive wound closures
Steri-strips are thin adhesive strips used to hold wound edges together, serving as an alternative to stitches for minor cuts or as reinforcement after suture removal.
They're applied across a wound to keep it closed while it heals: The doctor closed the cut with steri-strips instead of stitches.
