stdin
Program's data source
Stdin is standard input, one of three default data streams in computing alongside stdout (standard output) and stderr (standard error).
It's the channel through which a program receives input, typically from the keyboard or piped from another program: The script reads filenames from stdin.
Pronounced "standard in" or "stid-in."
