spycatcher

Finds enemy agents

A spycatcher is a person who hunts and apprehends spies, especially as a profession within intelligence or counterintelligence agencies.

The term gained prominence from Peter Wright's 1987 memoir about his work for British MI5: The spycatcher spent decades rooting out Soviet moles.
