spiritual body
Non-physical self
A spiritual body is the non-physical form believed to survive death or exist alongside the physical body.
In Christian theology, it refers specifically to the resurrected body described by Paul—a transformed, imperishable form suited for eternal life: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.
The concept appears across religious traditions, sometimes as the soul's vehicle, sometimes as an ethereal double that can separate during mystical experiences or astral projection.
