speed testing
Checking connection velocity
Speed testing measures how fast something performs, most commonly referring to internet connection tests that measure download and upload speeds in megabits per second: I ran a speed test and my connection is way slower than what I'm paying for.
The term also applies to testing reaction time, typing speed, or reading pace.
In software development, speed testing evaluates application performance under various conditions.

- bandwidthData transmission capacity
- latencyDelay in system response
- downloadRemote-to-local data transfer
- uploadTransfer data outward
