spectrums
Full continuous ranges
Spectrums is the plural of spectrum—a range or continuum.
Originally the band of colors produced when light passes through a prism, spectrum now applies to any continuous sequence: the political spectrum, the autism spectrum, a spectrum of opinions.
Both spectrums and spectra are valid plurals; spectrums is more common in general usage, spectra in scientific contexts.
