sound trucks
Rolling public announcers
Sound trucks are vehicles equipped with loudspeakers or public address systems, used to broadcast announcements, music, or political messages while driving through neighborhoods.
They're associated with election campaigns, advertising, and public announcements: The candidate's sound truck circled the district all afternoon.
In some countries, sound trucks announce everything from elections to funerals to the arrival of food vendors.
