softboxes
Photography lighting modifiers
Softboxes are light-diffusing enclosures used in photography and video production.
A softbox attaches to a studio light, spreading and softening the illumination to reduce harsh shadows and create more flattering, even lighting on subjects: The portrait photographer positioned two softboxes on either side of the model.
