sloshed
Three sheets windward
Sloshed is informal for drunk, typically quite drunk rather than merely tipsy: We got absolutely sloshed at the wedding reception.
The word evokes liquid sloshing around, as if the person were a container of alcohol.
British English favors it slightly more than American.
