sky maps
Celestial navigation aids
Sky maps are charts or diagrams showing the positions of celestial objects—stars, constellations, planets, and other astronomical features—as they appear from Earth.
They serve as guides for stargazers and astronomers to identify and locate objects in the night sky.
Traditional sky maps are static representations for a particular date, time, and location, while modern digital versions can adjust dynamically.
I used a sky map to find the Big Dipper.
