Single-pitched roof
A skillion is a roof with a single sloping plane—essentially half of a peaked roof, angled in one direction only.
Common in Australian and New Zealand English, the term describes both the roof style and a lean-to structure built with one: The skillion addition gave them extra storage space.
In architecture, skillion roofs appear on modern homes for their clean lines and efficient drainage.
