skidders
Forest extraction machines
Skidders is the plural of skidder—a heavy machine used in logging to drag felled trees from the forest to a loading area.
The term also applies to people or things that skid: The car hit black ice and joined the other skidders in the ditch.
In informal use, skidders can mean underwear with visible stains—from skid marks.
