single-deckers
Buses without upstairs
Single-deckers are buses with only one level of seating, as opposed to double-deckers with their iconic upper floor.
The term appears mainly in British English, where the distinction matters: Single-deckers run on routes with low bridges.
By extension, anything with one deck or level might be called a single-decker.
