bus stop
Scheduled boarding point
A bus stop is a designated place where buses pick up and drop off passengers.
It may be marked by a sign, a shelter, or simply a known location along a route: I'll meet you at the bus stop on Fifth Street.
The term also refers to the act of waiting there: a quick bus stop before heading downtown.
