Bell-shaped flower tree
Silverbell is a small ornamental tree native to the southeastern United States, named for its clusters of white, bell-shaped flowers that hang downward in spring.
Several species exist, most commonly the Carolina silverbell.
The wood is soft and rarely used commercially; the trees are planted primarily for their delicate spring blooms.
