A screwhead is the top of a screw—the part you engage with a screwdriver.
Different types are named for their shape or the tool they require: flathead, Phillips head, hex head.
The term also appears in slang as a mildly dismissive insult for someone considered stupid or crazy, playing on the image of having a screw loose.
