schnorrer
Shameless freeloading person
A schnorrer is a person who habitually mooches, begs, or sponges off others—someone who wheedles free meals, money, or favors rather than paying their own way.
The word comes from Yiddish and carries a mix of contempt and grudging amusement: Every family has a schnorrer who shows up at holidays empty-handed.
