satellite relay
Space signal bounce
A satellite relay is a communication system in which signals are transmitted from one point on Earth to an orbiting satellite, then bounced back to a different location on the ground.
The satellite acts as a relay station in the sky, enabling long-distance transmission that would otherwise be blocked by the Earth's curvature: The broadcast reached remote villages via satellite relay.
