sandballs
Molded sandy spheres
Sandballs are compacted spheres of sand, typically formed by hand at a beach or sandbox.
Children make them for throwing or building.
The term also applies to small, naturally occurring balls of sand pushed up by burrowing crabs on beaches: The shore was dotted with sandballs from ghost crabs.
