runflat
Drive while deflated
A runflat tire is designed to keep functioning after losing air pressure, allowing a driver to continue for a limited distance rather than stopping immediately.
The reinforced sidewalls support the vehicle's weight even when deflated: The runflat got me to the shop without changing it on the highway.
Also spelled run-flat.
