round trips
There-and-back journeys
Round trips are journeys to a destination and back again to the starting point.
The term appears most often in travel contexts: I booked a round trip to Chicago, round-trip tickets.
In computing, a round trip is the complete cycle of a request sent to a server and the response received back, often measured for latency.
