robocallers
Automated phone spammers
Robocallers are automated telephone systems that deliver prerecorded messages, or the entities that operate them.
The term is almost always pejorative—robocallers interrupt dinners with scam warnings, fake IRS threats, and unwanted sales pitches.
I've started screening all my calls because of robocallers.
The singular robocaller can refer to a single automated call or to a person running such operations.
