roaching
Spine bends upward
Roaching is slang for secretly dating multiple people while letting each believe the relationship is exclusive—like cockroaches, where spotting one suggests many more are hidden.
In dog behavior, roaching describes when a dog lies on its back with legs splayed in the air, resembling a dead roach.
The term also refers to a hairstyling technique of shaving or closely trimming the sides of a horse's mane to make it stand upright.
