reraising
Increasing the wager
Reraising is raising again or raising further.
In poker, a reraise is a raise that follows another player's raise: She reraised to $500 after his initial raise.
Outside gambling, reraising applies to anything lifted, elevated, or increased a second time: The flag was reraised after repairs to the pole.
