fold-out

Concealed then revealed

A fold-out is a page in a book or magazine that unfolds to reveal a larger image or diagram than the standard page size allows: The atlas included a fold-out map of the entire continent.

As an adjective, it describes furniture or features designed to fold out from a compact position: a fold-out couch, a fold-out table.
