replot

Redraw the visualization

To replot is to plot again—whether redrawing a graph with different parameters, reworking the storyline of a novel or screenplay, or resurveying land boundaries.

The word appears most often in technical contexts: I had to replot the data after finding an error in the spreadsheet.

In fiction writing, to replot is to restructure the narrative: The editor suggested she replot the second act entirely.
