rephotographed

Took another picture

Rephotographed means photographed again.

The term applies when someone takes a new photograph of something previously photographed—whether to improve quality, update a record, or capture changes over time: The passport office rephotographed him after his first picture came out blurry.

It also describes photographing an existing photograph, as when duplicating old prints or copying images for reproduction.
